This information can be found on a company’s Income Statement. It could be reported as “selling expense,” “marketing expense,” or “advertising expense.” Advertising expenses may also be included with administrative or general expenses.

The Mergent database, accessible through the Leatherby Libraries website, can be used to locate Income Statements.
