How do I find secondary sources for a literary analysis paper?

Answer

The Leatherby Libraries has an excellent guide that explains the difference between primary and secondary sources.

Once you have a firm grasp of what a secondary source is, your next step will be to access the Research and Study Guide for English.

Within the guide are tabs that can help you find sources by selecting one of the databases. Choose the tab for Databases that is directly to the right of the Home tab. I suggest that you connect to the Literature Resource Center (LRC). The LRC has a wonderful collection of both primary and secondary sources. It also offers the option to narrow your search to Literary Criticism, which can help you greatly as you work with secondary sources.
