How can I limit my searches to peer-reviewed journals or articles?

Answer

Limiting your search to peer-reviewed will depend on the database you are using. Most databases will have the Limit To feature. Some will use the limiter Peer Reviewed while others use Scholarly (Peer Reviewed).

You can also type keywords in the Start your Search search box near the top of the Leatherby Libraries' home page, and click on the Peer Reviewed button on the results page.

If you have difficulty finding the peer-reviewed limiter, please visit or contact the librarian at the Leatherby Libraries' Reference Desk:

Location: First floor lobby, by the computers
Chat: use LibChat during reference desk hours
Call: (714) 532-7714
Emaillibweb@chapman.edu

subject librarian for your area of study is also available to assist you.
