How to find out who or which articles have cited an article?

Answer

Find out who or which articles have cited an article by searching in Google Scholar or Web of Science.

In Google Scholar:

  • Search for the cited article.
  • Underneath the article result, click on the Cited by link.

In Web of Science:

  • Search for the cited article.
  • To the right of the article result, click on the Citations link.

Detailed instructions for both options are available in our library's Metric, Citations, and Impact Factors LibGuide.
